British polar explorer Ben Saunders has been named as ambassador for the new LEGO CITY Arctic campaign for 2014.

As part of the campaign, Saunders will feature in a video with useful tips for children on how to become an explorer, and judge and select winners of the Young Explorers Competition in partnership with National Geographic Kids, with winners landing an all-expenses paid trip to Luosto in Lapland, Finland. Saunders commented 'LEGO has played a huge part in my childhood and encouraged my own self exploration into other worlds, both real and imaginative'.
